The organisers of the Garden Party regret to announce that the event at Kelburn cannot go ahead.
A formal meeting was held today (30th May) of all the stakeholders in the event and there was a lot of enthusiasm from North Ayrshire Council and other parties and the Management Plan was recieved very positively. However, despite negotiations, we were unable to finance staffing proposals and other conditions laid out by Strathclyde Police.
A full refund will be given to those people that have bought tickets. We will be in touch with you early next week to arrange this.
The organisers are determined that Kelburn will hold future events as part of their ambitious plans in supporting North Ayrshire to become a host to new cultural projects.
We would like to thank all those who have dedicated their time and energy and enthusiasm in trying to make the Garden Party a success.
